Please join us in celebrating 100 years of the Merchant Marine Act of 1920 (46 U.S.C. § 55102) with four robust panels discussing how to improve and sustain the U.S. Merchant Marine.
Moderators and panelists include maritime industry leaders from business, government, education, and workforce, representing deep-draft shipping, the Gulf, passenger vessels, lake carriers, fisheries, and more. We will also be hearing from experts in their fields to help care for our mariners, especially in the current COVID-19 environment.    

Mariner Care is the fourth panel during the SOCP Virtual Fall Event, which will focus on our Mariners and their well-being.

The Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP) is a 501(c)6 nonprofit and nonpartisan member-driven organization of industry leaders to promote and improve the maritime industry through collaboration, facilitation, recommendation, and innovation.  We are not a lobbying organization.  Our members are the primary maritime stakeholders that include owning and operating companies, labor, training and educational professionals, mariners, regulatory, government and non-government organizations.
