Patrick Gallagher is Executive Director of the Marine Exchange of Puget Sound, a nonprofit industry association that provides 24/7 vessel tracking, operations/administration support, and maritime safety services across the Puget Sound region. He chairs the Puget Sound Harbor Safety Committee and is incoming President of Maritime Information Services of North America (MISNA) & Vice Chair of the National Harbor Safety Committee Steering Team. He also serves on the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council and the board of the Washington Maritime Federation.

A retired Coast Guard Commander, Patrick spent 22 years in uniform and logged over 300,000 nautical miles at sea. He earned an MBA from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business and taught at Olympic College as an Adjunct Professor.
