Whitney P. Mantooth, PhD, MPH, CSP is a Senior Engineer at the American Bureau of Shipping, where she leads Human Factors initiatives in human-system integration, human-performance assessment, and operational risk reduction for maritime and offshore applications. She authored the ABS Telemedicine Guide and the Human Readiness Level whitepaper, and has pioneered the integration of augmented-reality technologies into safety and inspection workflows. With a PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering from Texas A&M University, her prior experience includes managing health, safety, and emergency response programs at chemical facilities. She is an NFPA 301 Technical Committee Member, Certified Safety Professional, and NFPA Pro Board-Certified in Hazardous Materials and Facility Fire Brigade.
